Terms of service

FedPulse operates the Proofsheet website at https://getproofsheet.com. In these terms, "we", "us", and "our" mean FedPulse. "You" means the person or company using the service. "The service" means the Proofsheet web application. "Proofsheet" is our product.

Last updated: 29 October 2026. Version: 1.0.

1. What this agreement covers

These terms apply when you upload a file to https://getproofsheet.com, buy a report, or use a report or document pack we produced. By doing any of those things you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.

If you are using Proofsheet for a company, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for that company.

2. The software

Proofsheet is software: a web application that reads a software file you upload and generates a report automatically. The report has an ingredient list, findings ranked by severity, a grade, and a statement of what could not be checked. Some offers include a document pack with a bill of materials.

The analysis is automatic and self-service. It reads the file without running it. There is no human review of your file, no call, and no account manager.

We provide the software as it is on the day you use it. We may add, change, or remove features. If we remove something you paid for, we refund the unused part.

3. No account is needed

You can buy and receive a report without creating an account. Your report is reachable through a private link that contains a long random token.

That link is the only key. Anyone who has it can open the report, so keep it to yourself and share it the same way you would share a document containing your file list. If a link leaks, email support@getproofsheet.com and we will replace it.

We do not offer customer accounts today. Reports stay reachable for 30 days. Download the PDF and the pack before then.

4. Your file, and the permission you give us

You keep ownership of the file you upload.

You must own that software, or have written permission from whoever owns it, to have it analyzed. You confirm this with a checkbox before each upload. If you upload software you have no right to analyze, you are in breach of these terms and you are responsible for the result.

To run the service, you give us a limited licence to store, copy, and read the file for the purpose of producing your report. That licence ends when the file is deleted, and the file is deleted within 24 hours of upload.

We do not open customer files by hand, publish them, use them to train anything, or show them to another customer.

5. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • Upload software you do not own and have no written permission to analyze
  • Upload a file in order to find weaknesses in someone else's product, or to help someone attack it
  • Try to break, overload, or reverse the service itself, or get around its limits or its payment step
  • Use the service to break the law, or to help someone else break it
  • Resell Proofsheet, or a report, as if it were your own product. Sharing a report with your customer, auditor, or insurer is allowed and encouraged
  • Remove the FedPulse attribution from a report and present it as another company's analysis

We may suspend or end access if we have reasonable evidence you have done any of these. Where the situation allows it, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond.

6. What a report is, and what it is not

Proofsheet reports are technical evidence, not a legal certificate or legal advice.

A report describes what was found inside one file at one moment. It does not certify that software is safe, secure, or compliant with any law or standard. It does not replace a security review, a penetration test, a legal opinion, or a formal audit. It does not create a duty of care towards your customers, and it is not a warranty of any kind.

Where the analysis could not determine something, the report says so. Read those parts. A finding that is absent is not proof that a problem does not exist, only that this check did not find one.

7. Price, payment, and taxes

Prices are shown on the pricing page. Payment is taken by Paddle, which acts as the seller of record for these transactions. FedPulse is named on the invoice and the receipt.

By paying, you also accept Paddle's buyer terms, which cover the card processing itself. We never see or store your card details.

Prices are shown without VAT. Paddle calculates the tax for your country and adds it at checkout. If you need a VAT number, a purchase order reference, or a specific invoice format, tell us at support@getproofsheet.com before you pay.

Watchdog and Agency are not on sale. They are shown as a waitlist only, and we do not take payment for them. If we open them later, the price, billing period, cancellation terms, and refund terms will be shown before you pay.

8. Refunds

One-time reports carry a 14-day money-back guarantee. The details, including the exceptions for abuse, are in the refund policy at https://getproofsheet.com/legal/refunds, which forms part of these terms.

9. No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we give no warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, error free, or fit for a particular purpose, and no warranty about the accuracy or completeness of any report.

We do not warrant that a report will find every problem in a file. Software analysis has limits, and the report states them.

Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or right that the law does not allow us to exclude, including your statutory rights as a consumer.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost revenue, lost contracts, or damage to reputation, however those arise.

Our total liability for any claim connected with the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event that gave rise to the claim. For a free check, that amount is zero.

We are not liable for what you decide to do with a report, or for a decision a customer, auditor, or insurer makes after reading one.

Nothing in this section limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.

11. Intellectual property

The Proofsheet name, the website, the report layout, the wording of the findings, and the analysis engine belong to FedPulse.

When you pay for a report, you get a permanent, non-exclusive licence to use that report and its document pack inside your business, and to share it with your customers, auditors, insurers, and advisers. You may quote it, attach it to a tender, or hand it to a regulator.

You may not sell a report, publish it as marketing material for a different product, or present the analysis as your own work. The Agency plan is not on sale, so no agency branding option exists today.

12. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the service at any time. The one-time plans do not renew, so there is nothing to cancel.

We can suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if payment fails, or if we are required to by law. If we end your access for a reason other than your breach, we refund the unused part of any plan you paid for.

When access ends, your reports are deleted according to the retention periods in the privacy policy. Download anything you want to keep before then.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we change the version number and the date at the top, and we publish the new version on this page before it takes effect.

Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new terms. If you do not, stop using the service and cancel any plan.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Algeria, and the courts of Algeria have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, without affecting any right you have as a consumer to bring a claim in your own country of residence.
